commissioned in late 2002 through 2003 to design a fully
working reproduction of the 1984-1992 Atari 7800
ProSystem that would be completely identical in its
functionality and compatibility with all existing
Atari 2600 and 7800 game cartridges.
The PCB layout team created a new motherboard layout.
Design Team created a newly updated look to the original
product line to help the product stand on its own and to
distinguish it from the original Atari 7800
model. This included a beefy top section, oval
buttons, and a curve-over clear power indicator. The
project was completed and delivered to the client.
The client never produced the product for retail sale.
